NO DREAMS OF JEANNIE FOR ALBA
Hollywood beauty JESSICA ALBA has laughed off reports she is donning oversized pants and slippers to star in the film remake of I DREAM OF JEANNIE.
After big-budget movies THE FANTASTIC FOUR and SIN CITY, Alba has just signed up to appear in a low-budget film and is baffled by reports she is set to take over BARBARA EDEN's cult TV role.
Alba tells the New York Daily News, "I just signed on to an independent called THE WAKE for Miramax, actually, with SIGOURNEY WEAVER and HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN.
ALBA TO LAUNCH BABY CLOTHING LINE
Sexy actress JESSICA ALBA has announced plans to branch out into the world of fashion, with a baby clothing line.
The SIN CITY beauty, 24, has yet to have any children of her own, but she's eager to see tots looking as stylish as their parents when they're out and about.
She says, "I have a baby clothing line. I've been buying baby clothes and (they're) boring.
"We're making clothing similar to what their stylish parents wear. A percentage of profits will go to orphanages and women's shelters."
The line will be released in the spring (06).
ALBA: 'MUSCLEMEN LOOK RIDICULOUS'
FANTASTIC FOUR star JESSICA ALBA shuns men who devote their lives to the gym - because she believes the look "ridiculous".
The sexy actress admits that men who spend much of their time sculpting their bodies are often "lacking upstairs".
She says, "There's no much thing as an ideal body; that's just silliness. It just has to be a body I want.
"I've never been into guys who work out three hours a day. It looks ridiculous, and they're usually lacking upstairs."
Jess for President?
SEXY actress Jessica Alba has revealed that she fantasises about being the President of America - because she loves the idea of dominating a room full of men.
The Fantastic Four beauty admits a position of huge power and hordes of older men working under her would be a dream come true.
She told In Style magazine: "(My sexiest fantasy is) me in the Oval Office, in a suit, surrounded by make aides, smiling sweetly at the camera, knowing I rule everybody.
"I'm all about female empowerment."

Despite recent gossip on the net (Page Six, we're looking at you) that Jessica Alba has abandoned the role of Sue Storm in the Fantastic Four sequel to star in a silver screen version of the tv show I Dream of Jeannie, this is not true. Alba's reps confirmed for F4Movies that the actress is indeed committed to appearing in a sequel if one is made. Alba, alongside actors Ioan Gruffudd, Michael Chiklis and Chris Evans, reportedly signed a contract to appear in at least two sequels to the smash superhero film.

Fantastic Four actress Jessica Alba has beaten a host of Hollywood stars to land the coveted lead in the I Dream Of Jeannie film.
The Sin City star will join Perfect Catch funnyman Jimmy Fallon for the latest revamp of a classic TV series.
According to reports, Kate Hudson, Lindsay Lohan and Alicia Silverstone were also in the running for the role.
Bend It Like Beckham director Gurinder Chadha is said to be interested in taking charge of the project.
The classic 60s sitcom starred Dallas actor Larry Hagman as astronaut Major Anthony Nelson.
He discovers a mysterious bottle containing a beautiful female genie, played by Barbara Eden.
And Jessica Alba will be at this years MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS which will air on August 28, 2005 on MTV.
